Eric was awarded a full athletic scholarship to the Univ. Rhode Island and was captain of the track team, before graduating way back in 1988. Then got sidetracked by employment before going back to get a MS from George Washington Univ. in 2002 and a MS from Boston Univ. in 2005.
Along with writing Eric is also an inventor. He acquired U.S. Patent #6,876,302 granted 4/2005 and has a dozen more ideas in the pipeline.
Eric has completed many triathlons and both Boston & NYC marathons to raise money for Children’s Hospital Boston, The Jimmy Fund and American Cancer Society.
Some of the employment avenues Eric has strolled down while avoiding grad school were: School Teacher, Counselor on a locked adolescent unit of a high security psychiatric hospital, Real Estate Broker, Stock Broker, Line Cook, Carpenter, High School Track Coach, Construction Worker, Waiter, Customer Service Representative, Marketing Manager, Fitness Director - among others.
Eric makes his home in Massachusetts, but tries to hide from winters as much as possible in Florida and the Caribbean. Married since 1994 with two daughters. Hobbies are: running, building wooden boats and sculpting.
